The RSGC is home to over 6,000 Members comprising Royalty, Cabinet, Ministers, foreign diplomats, corporate leaders, captains of industry, professionals and ordinary persons from different walks of life, who share a keen interest in golf and other sporting pursuits. The total membership base is about 18,000 inclusive of registered dependants who are the spouses and children of the Members.

Honorary Members are the Heads of States, the Prime Minister and Deputy Prime Minister of Malaysia and they are our Club’s honorable patrons.
Distinguished Persons Membership is for the ranks of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Cabinet Ministers and other senior positions in the Malaysian government service , subject to the approval of the Club.
Foreign Diplomatic Term Membership is for Diplomats from the foreign Diplomatic Missions or Trade Commissions established in Malaysia.
Corporate Membership is for incorporated companies with registered office in and conducting businesses out in Malaysia. These companies may apply for Corporate Membership for their nominees.
After the passing of an Ordinary Member, his widow or her widower may apply to become a Guest of Club, to enable him or her to continue to enjoy the Club’s facilities.
Junior Membership is for children of Ordinary Members and the admission age is between the child’s 15th and 16th birthdays. The application and prevailing entrance fee must be submitted at the latest before the child’s 16th birthday, subject to the parent having been an Ordinary Member for at least 2 years in accordance with the Club’s Bye-Laws.
When a Junior Member attains his/her 21st birthday, he/she may apply for election into Ordinary Membership. The application and prevailing entrance fee must be submitted before the Junior Member’s 21st birthday.
The spouse and children below the age of 21 of Members are eligible to use the facilities of the Club as Registered Dependants. Only the natural and legally adopted children of Members shall be accorded the Dependants status. Copies of a valid marriage certificate for the spouse and birth certificate for the children (or legal adoption paper in the case of an adopted child) will be required as supporting document.
Ordinary Membership is open to individuals. The membership is for life. Male and female persons who are above 21 years of age may apply for admission as Ordinary Members.
The RSGC membership is neither transferable nor for resale. All Members and their registered dependants are guided by the Memorandum and Articles of Association and the General Bye-Laws of the Club.
