Overseas
(a) (i)Reciprocal privileges are offered to Members temporarily visiting the country either on business or on holiday. Therefore, Members of The Royal Selangor Golf Club who are residing in the country in which a reciprocal club is located may not use the facilities of that club. Similarly, Members of reciprocal clubs located outside of Malaysia who are residing in Malaysia may not use the facilities of The Royal Selangor Golf Club.

(ii) Members from reciprocal clubs in the various States of Malaysia who are residing in Kuala Lumpur or the State of Selangor may not use the facilities of The Royal Selangor Golf Club. Similarly, Members of The Royal Selangor Golf Club who are residing in the same State in Malaysia as where the reciprocal club is located may not use the facilities of that club.
(b) A Visiting Member must be a resident Member of his club and paying full membership subscriptions. Absent/Overseas Members are not entitled to use the reciprocal facilities unless their membership is reactivated for the period of visit.
(c) A Visiting Member to a reciprocal club must produce his home club Membership Card and a valid Introduction Card/Letter duly signed by the Authorised Signatory of his club. Upon arrival at the reciprocal club, the Visiting Member shall present the above-said documents for registration purposes before using the reciprocal club’s facilities. The Introduction Card/Letter is for the personal use of the holder and is non-transferable. It must not be altered in any manner.
A Visiting Member playing golf at a reciprocal club must also produce his current golf handicap card or certificate for registration at the host club.
Apart from the above-mentioned documents, RSGC Members visiting the Hong Kong Golf Club, Singapore Island Country Club, Red Mountain Golf Club, Loch Palm Golf Club, Riverdale Golf Club and vice-versa shall produce their passport for registration at the host club. Photocopy of the passport is acceptable — main page containing the holder’s particulars and page with the date stamp of arrival in the country.
(d) The reciprocal arrangements permit the use of a reciprocal club’s facilities for up to 14 days in a calendar year unless otherwise specified in the respective club’s reciprocal agreement with The Royal Selangor Golf Club.
(e) A Visiting Member who avails himself for the golfing and other facilities shall do so without payment of green fees and facilities fees (except for caddie, buggy, golfer’s insurance, equipment rental, goods purchases, food & beverage, services, etc) unless otherwise specified in the respective club’s reciprocal agreement with The Royal Selangor Golf Club.
(f) A Visiting Member to The Royal Selangor Golf Club is strictly not allowed to use its Reading Room, Gymnasium, Games Room and Card Room. However, the Gymnasium is allowed to Visiting Members from reciprocal clubs which allow The Royal Selangor Golf Club’s Members to use their Gymnasium.
(g) Visiting Members playing golf at The Royal Selangor Golf Club are required to engage a caddie each and shall be subject to the Daily Golfer’s Insurance Scheme for Guests & Visitors if they do not produce their valid golfer’s insurance card or any other form of certification as proof of golf insurance coverage. They are also to display their “Visitor Golf Tag” prominently on their golf bags.
(h) Visiting Members are not allowed to introduce guests.
(i) Visiting Members shall abide by the terms & conditions of the reciprocal arrangement and the Bye-Laws of the respective reciprocal clubs. Any visiting Member who violates the above may be subject to disciplinary action by their home club.
(j) Reciprocal clubs have the rights to bar certain Visiting Members from using their facilities and without assigning any reason.
(k) There may be variations and exceptions to the Terms & Conditions of the reciprocal arrangements under respective reciprocal club’s agreement with The Royal Selangor Golf Club and these shall be adhered to strictly.
